Mystery Author Contest

As part of "Love to Read" month, we will be running a mystery author contest in the Media Center.  During morning announcements, a short clue will be given about an author.  Stop by the Media Center anytime during the school day to submit your answer.  At the end of the day, we will draw for a winner!  Winners will receive a $10 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble!  Good Luck!

February is Love to Read month!!

We've got some great things planned for this month and into March!

We'll also be unveiling over 300 new books this month!

Like last year, we will be running some contests to win Barnes & Noble Gift Cards.  Listen up and win! 

For the first time, RHS will be doing a community read with the Rogers Public Library. Stanley Gordon West author of Until They Bring the Streetcars Back will be a guest at RHS and the Rogers Public Library on Tuesday, March 9.  

We'll wrap it up with a Book Fair at Conferences in March!  

Scholastic approached us to test their new book fair geared specifically for high school students.  I hope it's a success for us, and I'm excited to work with Scholastic!

Media Center Contests!

In honor of Read Across America Day, the media center is sponsoring two contests. First, every day we will be reading an excerpt from a book at the beginning of the day. Submit your answer in the green box in the Media Center for a chance to win a Barnes & Noble gift card. Winners will be announced at the end of the day.
Our second contest is even better! Every time you check out a book, register to win one of the following prizes: The Twilight series gift set, a $50 Barnes & Noble Card, or a $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card.
